104 piece set of "N171" by
Noritake china. This pre-WWI
china has the Noritake Nippon backstamp
which was used prior to
1921. All pieces are in "very
good" condition considering the age of the set. Several
pieces have minor defects and these will be noted. Set includes:
12 dinner plates (one has small chip), 11 luncheon plates (one has
small chip), 12 salad plates, 12 bread & butter plates,
10 cups and saucers (one cup has hairline crack and one saucer has
small chip), 2 extra saucers, 12 fruit/dessert bowls, 12 rim soup
bowls, 1 oval platter 14" (small chip ),
1 oval platter 16", 1 oval platter 19", 1 oval vegetable
8", 2 oval vegetables 12", 1 oval covered vegetable, 1
round covered vegetable. All pieces, except 5 with minor
defects, are in very good condition. On some pieces the gold
trim is slightly worn. Click for a close up of

This very complete old set would be a wonderful addition to the
Noritake collector.
