Nikko Ceramics began production of the "Christmastime" and "Happy Holidays" collector's plates in 1993.  The first year plate depicts the Christmas tree pattern with the gifts under the tree.  Each year thereafter, the collector's plate depicts a different Christmas melody...starting with "Here Comes Santa" in 1994.  The pattern of "Christmastime" (octagonal shape) and "Happy Holidays" (siwrled shape) are the same.  Nikko also makes the Christmas Giftware which coordinates with both "Christmastime" and "Happy Holidays"; however, the shape is smooth.   

Nikko produced a collector's plate in "Winter Wonderland" in 2000 and 2001.  This is a discontinued pattern; there are few of these plates left!!.
