Vintage silverplated candy or cake basket in the Rococo style has two pieces...the outer basket and a bowl which sits within the basket. There are no marks on either piece. The basket measures 4 1/2" in diameter and is in excellent condition. The motif is one of fruit and flowers. The bowl which sits inside the basket has scratches and pitting on the inside bottom of the bowl (which no one would notice if the bowl were full of candy or nuts!). The handle of the basket is beaded. A lovely piece with special pricing due to the scratches in the bowl. Poised on a side table, it will dress up your holiday parties! $ 25 |
