oval
relish/celery tray by RS
Prussia
measures 12 1/2" in length and is in excellent condition!
Reihnold Schlegelmilch started his factory in Tillowitz (upper
Silesia), Germany by the end of the 19th century. This piece
was made between 1905 - 1910 and has the older red mark which was
used from 1880 - 1917. The tray has a petal scalloped bowl
with open handles on either end. Roses in pink, peach and
white provide the motif for this piece; the gold trim on the bowl
and petal adornments enhance the loveliness of the dish. This
is a wonderful piece for the collector of RS Prussia!
