Laughlin patterns "Majestic"
and "B1309"
are available
to add to or complete your set.
Although these are two different patterns, the colors used
(burgundy, yellow, green and blue) and
design are very similar...so much so that they were used together as
a set by the prior owner. In the "Majestic" pattern
there are nine (9) dessert/pie plates (7 3/8") available in
very good used condition. One plate does have a chip on the
rim. There are fifteen (15) luncheon plates (9 1/4") in the
"B1309" pattern. This size plate is difficult to
find. Of these pieces, one plate has a chip on the rim and two
have a tiny nick in the gold which can only be found by touch.
There is some gold wear on some of the pieces but not
significant. Also available in the "B1309" pattern
are 5 teacups. One cup has a small chip and all have some
discoloration and/or crazing in the inside of the bowl (perhaps from
hot tea!). The paint color, however, looks very good. "Majestic"
was introduced in 1935; both patterns are discontinued. Call
